We protect your personal privacy and work actively on how to best protect your personal information. Our endeavor is to comply with applicable laws and regulations for personal data protection at all times. We have developed this policy so that you can easily understand what personal data we collect and how they are used, as well as what procedures we have that apply to your personal data. 
 
The personal information we store is your name, address, telephone number and email address. You can choose to register your personal identification number on our website, it is then saved with our payment partner. 
 
When you become a customer with us through a contract upon registration, we save your personal data in systems for data storage, mail communication, for marketing purposes and logistics flows. We at Wetalk AB take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure that your personal data is protected from unauthorized access to them.

2. DATA PROCESSED 

The personal information we process is; 

the information you submit to us in forms on the website www.thewetalk.com eg. by registering as a customer or agreeing to a newsletter subscription. The personal data stored with us are: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and cookies, information about purchases you make through our website, information about your visits to the website, eg. traffic data, location data, web blogs and other communication data. 

3. PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT 

Your personal information is used, inter alia, to: 

(a) display information on the Site to you in an appropriate manner; 

(b) fulfill our obligations under the agreements we have with you; 

(c) inform you of changes to our Services; 

(d) give you access to interactive parts of our service; 

(e) produce relevant market and consumer statistics; 

(f) and contact you for direct marketing purposes (see paragraph 4). 

This may also include transferring your personal information to our affiliates and advertisers. 

By submitting your personal information to us, you consent to us transferring and processing your information in accordance with the paragraph above. We will take reasonable steps to best protect your personal information. 

4. LEGAL BASIS 

The legal basis for the treatment is Agreement / Legal Obligation and Consent. It is necessary for us to save your personal information in order to fulfill the agreement you enter into with us when purchasing on our website as a webshop customer. (Note, this part is not active yet: The exception is our Newsletter where the legal basis is Consent and where you can at any time choose to refrain from receiving more mailings from us). 

5. DIRECT MARKETING (Please note that this part is not yet active - therefore completely ignore item 5) 

We will use your information to inform you of goods and services that we believe may be of interest to you. Such information will be communicated by e-mail only if you have approved it or if we have previously sold similar goods or services to you. This if you did not contradict such information by unsubscribing from newsletters or sending a subscription to hello@thewetalk.com. 

According to the GDPR Data Protection Regulation, your personal data may not be processed for direct marketing purposes after you have stated in writing that you oppose such processing. Such notification may be made to the address specified in the paragraph above. 

6. RECIPIENT OF DATA 

payment Provider 

When making purchases, information is shared with our payment provider. What is stored are first name, last name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, the social security number is also saved with the payment provider. The information is stored in order to carry out the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud. 

The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Klarna. 

Shipping Companies 

In order to deliver your orders and complete our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. What is shared with the shipping company is the first name, last name and address information for delivery. E-mail address and / or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification. 

The shipping companies we work with are: Postnord. 

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties; 

(a) we sell or purchase a business or asset, whereby we may disclose your information to a prospective seller or buyer of such asset or business; 

(b) if we or parts of our assets are acquired by a third party, personal data being one of the transferred assets; 

(c) if we are required to disclose your information in order to fulfill a legal obligation or to protect the rights, access or security of our customers, ours or others. This also involves exchanges of information with other companies to counter fraud or to limit credit risk, 

(d) if it is necessary for those who provide different systems to us to perform their obligations under the agreements we have with them. We always make sure that those we work with comply with the Data Protection Regulation in a way that we find acceptable under the Data Protection Regulation, 

(e) your data is stored and processed mainly in the EU / EEA area. Your data may be stored outside the EU / ESS through those who provide systems to us. We always check that those we work with comply with the Data Protection Regulation in a way that we find acceptable under GDPR. 

7. COOKIES 

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer. With cookies we collect information about your general internet use. 

We also use cookies to improve and customize our website. They help us to; 

(a) estimate the amount of visitors and their usage patterns; 

(b) save information about your settings, for example, if you want a newsletter, which language to use; 

(c) adapt the Website to your wishes, choices and interests; 

(d) increase the speed of your searches; 

(e) and recognize you when you return to the page and make sure you are logged in until you choose to log out. 

If you want to browse without cookies, your browser can be set so that you automatically refuse to store cookies or be informed every time a website requests to store a cookie. The browser can also delete previously stored cookies. See your browser's help pages for more information. 

If you have not changed your browser's settings to refuse cookies, our system will place them on your computer when you visit the Website. Please note that if you choose to decline cookies, the functionality of the Website may be limited. 

8. PROTECTION 

We use industry standards such as SSL / TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, process and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords in a secure way. 

We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, which is run by Quickbutik AB, based in Helsingborg. 

9. RIGHT TO INFORMATION, CORRECTION AND DELETION 

As a customer with us, you have the right to receive information about how your personal data is processed when we collect it (at registration) and when you otherwise request it. When registering, you will receive this information in your confirmation email. Should a data breach or similar (a personal data incident) occur with us and there is a risk of, for example, identity theft or fraud with your personal data, we will inform you of this. 

You also have the right to contact us and ask to have incorrect information corrected. 

As a customer with us, you have the right to request that the personal data that you intend to delete is deleted. We will delete your information as below: 

If the information is no longer needed for the purposes for which we collected it. 

If the treatment is based on your consent and you withdraw the consent. 

If the treatment is done for direct marketing and you oppose it, unsubscription is done via the relevant marketing email or via our customer service hello@thewetalk.com. 

If the personal data is deleted at your request, we will inform you about the deletion 

(however, it does not apply if it proves impossible or involves an overly burdensome effort). You also have the right to request information about to whom the information has been disclosed.

The Website may contain links to websites operated by one of our partners, advertisers or by another third party. Please note that these sites may have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them. Please read these privacy policies before submitting personal information to such sites.

Changes and additions to our Policy will be posted on this page and will be emailed to you when we find appropriate.
